cellency's Colony, and throughout southern China, of kerosene

Vil and other l'etroleum products manufactured by the Texas Lob-

pany of Fort Arthur and New York,

experience in the sale of nerosene vil. That firm thus became

with ue the agents of the Texas Company, under a contract dated

Uctober 1st 1910 which was signed by us in London, on our behalf

and on that of Messrs.keuter brookelmann « Co.

The business has gradually grown to a turnover of

approximately £ 100,000 a year and, under proper management and

fostering care, is capable of great further development. The

business is thus a source of considerable profit to us and the

London Banks who are anxious to participate in the financial sid

of it, especially as the business is a very safe one for them.

AS LOBST».keuter srockelmann ... Co. are a German firm, at

present being liquidated, it is incumbent upon us to make fresh

arrangements for a new distributing agency for this oil, in order

to protect our interests and those of the producing Company, AF

well as the british sanking interests which are immediately con-

cerned by financing the business for us.
